23. Prom!

The last few days have been filled with prom preparation and revision, on Wednesday i had my last exam, which was Textiles. It seemed to go ok but some of the questions were pretty impossible to waffle through as you had to know the fact to answer it, but there is no harm in guessing. Most of it was ok though apart from the few bad questions.

Then after the exam it was prom preparation, to be honest the most preparation i had to do was mental preparation! I don't know what i was worried about!

Friday was prom, i got picked up by a friend at 7 and then we got to the venue at around quarter to eight. And everyone was there we went late, the arrival time was 7:30-8. We didn't go in anything fancy and we are glad we didn't as it would have been a waste of money, it was raining you see and everyone was inside and you couldn't see the transport anyway! On the way me and my friend were actually pretty scared well i was more excited (i say now) but my friend felt sick XD When we got inside, it was the usual friendly welcome from everyone! and at first glance everyone did look really nice, and when i had more of a chance to look at people after the chaos of arriving i still thought everyone looked really nice! I'm glad everyone made the effort and we all did look really nice.. i am saying really nice a alittle too much!
The head of year gave a speech and handed out a few sarcastic awards for worst dressed ( like the worst uniform) and that, obviously i didn't get one because my uniform is always perfect XD
Next we went to get our "professional photographs" taken which was good but we waited in the que for a while and we couldn't even come back later when it wasn't so busy as the woman said she was only going to do it between certain times... So me and my best best friend had one together and my and my other best friends had one the second being with about i think it was 9 or 10 of us (cant be bothered to count) The only bad thing about the photos were everyone was sooo hot it was unbelievable especially waiting while she fiddled around with everyone dresses and that! Gosh... And also the rest of the year group were all gathered around looking while the photo was taken! which was very off putting and i bet the photos arnt as good as they could have been now!
After they were done it was pretty much dancing for at least 3 hours straight! well with the odd item dipped in chocolate and we also had alittle food, there was a hog roast and it was actually a pig on a stick, which i didn't really expect.
Anyway everyone was dancing and getting into it and to be honest i didn't really care what people thought of me seen as its the last time we are to be all together, me and my friends were pretty wild! Especially me I'm not sure what really got into me! The songs were good as well ranging from moden to the oldies which are always fun! My feet were hurting by the end of the night even though i was in flats i got a blister from the shoes, well not a blister but i can see it was on the verge of being one!
We had the the last song which for some reason was the Bear necessities from the jungle book, which was a strange choice, it all finished at around 12:30 am
We texted my dad to pick us up and it is a far distance to even get near the place from my dads house! and it was also hard to find! i am surprised he want later, i had to ask people from the venue to help with directions! haha the DJ was also talking to us fr awhile and got into a convo with us and it was strange but he was nice hahha.... we ended up getting to my friends house at umm it was after 2am maybe closer to 3 am? And we sat and talked for awhile and then at about 5 we passed out.. I fell asleep really quickly! I'm not surprised with all that dancing!
When i woke up this morning the top of my legs and feet hurt, and still do alittle! it was a real workout =P
Overall prom exceeded my expectations and i thought it really was an amazing night dancing with everyone and just everyone let their hair down! Really a night to remember!

22. Time for a practice!

Above is two pictures of my hair, this style will be for prom which is on this Friday. I think it all went to plan and i quite like it but i don't really like the 4 flowers maybe 2 dotted about it looks a little uniform at the moment. What do you think? I like it! The make up went quite well as well but i don't have a photo of that but i think the purple on the eyeshadow needs toning down alittle bit! This is not the final product on Friday we are making the front more volumised and the curls will be more defined this was just a quick go to find out what it would look like! Couldn't really do that much as my hair is pretty long and it would fall out i think if we pinned more up and would be more uncomfortable!

21. Love

Love- I don't intend to find love, i intend it to find me. I say this as a 16 year old, who you may think shouldn't be searching or even considering the thought of love never mind being in love. But just thinking about it is enough to push me off track, how pleasurable spending time with one person you can relay on and treat as a friend as well as a boyfriend would be. Not being able to get each other out of the others mind, for better and for worse, treating each other with respect and the dignity we know the other deserves.  Hoping with all your will that you will only be with your love for the rest of your life through adventure, happiness and the occasional disaster. Feeling the occasional disaster will be nothing compared to what it have been on your own, without your sole mate. The person you can speak your mind to even if the words your speak are un-intentionally ununderstandable, knowing your love with listen and guild you to your next thought.
I understand i have a long time before love will find me and i can wait.

20. Busy Busy Busy

Wow over the next week i really am going to be super busy! just a quick update on what i am actually going to be doing-

Friday (today)- gym and revision (mabye revison)
Sat and Sunday- Buy things for prom seen as its on the next Friday. I need a bag, jewellery and hair accessories which i hope to god i can find something suitable.
Monday-
Tuesday-         One of these days i will be going for a practice on my hair and makeup also on one 
Wednesday-            probably Wednesday nails, and another day eyebrows! And a hair cut!
Thursday- probably discussing prom with friends and sorting everything out, saying goodbye to mum 
Friday- PROM getting ready rushing about its going to be fun and then there we go it will be all over!

             Also on Wednesday i have an exam so i will be revising throughout week

When i look at it, it doesn't seem that bad but i know it will be when I'm actually doing it all =S

19. My Birthday!

Wow i cant actually believe the day has come to turn 16! I remember when i was younger thinking about when i get older, i thought being 16 was really old and now when i have reached this milestone in my life not thinking it to be a big deal.

I must point out being 16 does have it advantages, not sex if that's what your thinking, i find it actually scary thinking that i am actually legal to have sex. But anyway i was thinking for along the lines of a job! Which next year i will be looking for (i mean academic year) in September once settled into college i will be looking for a part time job. I do hope that thir is enough time for one especially doing Alevels. Only time will tell! Another thing you can do at 16 is buy a lottery ticket which is amazing! I actually forgot about this until a friend pointed it out! I didn't get today's one so i am going to get the Saturday one which has a less likely chance of winning but more actually winnings... Cross my fingers!

I have had a very different birthday, usually w make a bit of a deal out of it and have a party or g out but this year i didn't want to well i would have but i told my mum and dad i would put my usual money towards the expenses of prom as it does cost a BOMB. So i went shopping with my friend and felt really ill and was actually sick twice so we decided on coming home, which was the right decision.

 I got my prom shoes though whih ticks another thing of the list! They are from Next, flats as with a heel the dress would lift from the ground and look alittle strange. They are pretty nice and not over the top so i will be able to wear them on a normal day =) after i got home i called my mum to tell her what happened and then ended up doing to sleep for a few hours then i woke up when my dad came in, i opened a few cards and then we went to subway and i had a foot long which i never usually have i was soooo full but i had only had 2 pieces of toast earlier before i was sick so i doubt i digested tem anyway. Then we went and got a birthday cake from Salisbury's it was a toy story 3 one and it was really tasty even though i was sooo full we all just ate it.My mum was here also to sin happy birthday as well as my sister. I am actually happy with my birthday well apart from being ill, i felt soo much better after sleeping though i think i puked up all the bad stuff. And yes overall i had a good birthday as i didn't expect anything it was nice to see my dad and mum and have cake =)

18. Sorry!

I think this may be my second apology to you and i am sorry but i cant help i have exams quite alot of the time now, saying this though i only have one exam left which is next Wednesday, so that's great!
I haven't really got much to update most of my exams have been going well had alittle hiccup on the English language paper 2 and today's RE exam didn't go amazingly which i am abit annoyed about but whats done is done.

Its my Birthday tomorrow! i am going to be 16 years old which means i can actually get a job, and i will be doing so next year along side college. Which will keep my busy and i am happy about! I think i am either going for a coffee shop as their are plenty around where my college is or Sainsburys which i actually wouldn't mind which it really really close to college its about a 3 min walk! I hope i get a job their i will have to enquire son though as their might be a waiting list? I'm sure its popular with the other students as well...
I don't think i am doing much or anything for my Birthday because my friends are still in exams as we all have different exams, and nothing with my family. My dad has asked about a meal but i really don't mind at all! I mean i will be happy to go but i don't want anything really... Not getting any presents well my presents is my prom dress, the hair and make up artist... transport their... shoes and a bag for prom its a pricey number! Its a crazy amount of money so i told my mum and dad it would be for my birthday as i don't want anything else form them!
